What was the Ink
I think everyone needs a swimming pool,,, but we wont give them water,, well fill them with lawyers ,,, just like sheep to a slaughter,, their legal jargon will flood out as the sun makes things hotter.
the paperwork they hold,, they cling to like gold, with words that dont go together,, but make the (sentences) longer,,
they lord above us as they speak, as they try to get us to sign, DOwN HerE OON the DOttaEd line, holding pens made of silver ,, filled with the blood of their sons and their daughters.
we will not sign, we say with a grin and watch the insanity within them sink in,, we can see in their eyes as their smiles turn grim, they are lost for words never to have been refused like this
as their youth fades away, for the ink we will not lay, they beg and plead for us simply to sign, and they point again to the magical line,
they age right before us and some turn to dust cause with all they had gained they never gained ourtrust , and none of us had time to learn how to speak their language of power that was once respected and just,, And made to protect the weak and try as they may they can barely squeak out the facts, their language of law that kills worse than a dull ax,, all for a chance to sit in relax, in a little pool ,, to make us feel hotter,, to after work get a place to cool off in undrinkable water
